November 10 - album ARCHITEXTURE launch!
New album "Architexture" contains music for strings by Matija Krečič. The album launch concert will take place in Mini teater, Ljubljana, on November 10 at 7.30 pm. Music will be performed by young virtuoso musicians of Janus Ensemble together with a special guest - percussionist Vid Drašler.

Krečič arranger of the Belgrade liberation day central celebration
Sunday, November 19 at 8pm there will be a central celebration of 70 years of Belgrade liberation day that will take place in Sava center. The spectacle titled "Priča o čvrgama i nebu" will be directed by Dragan Bjelogrlić. Music that was written by Magnifico and arranged by Matija Krečič will be performed by RTS symphony orchestra with conductor Bojan Suđić.

Janus Atelier congratulates to Mr. Boris Pahor for his 100th birthday
Monday, August 26 writer Boris Pahor celebrated his 100th birthday. On this day at 8 pm there was a festive ceremony "Pahoriana" in Ljubljana Opera house, where also Matija Krečič's arrangement of a folk song "Kol'kor kapljic, tol'ko let" for solo soprano, male octet and symphonic orchestra was performed. The ceremony was broadcasted by the Slovenian national television and radio.
The First Performance of Sonata for Violin and Piano
Violinist Elisabeth Wöhrer and pianist Davorin Mori will give the first performance of the new piece by Matija Krečič "Sonata for Violin and Piano" at the St. Pauler Kultursommer festival in St. Paul, Austria on August 9. The Slovenian premiere of the piece will be on September 7 at the Koroško kulturno poletje festival in Dravograd.
